![]() ![]() The first quest-related ice crystal is southeast. We'll point out a few that should be broken if they're quest-related. The others in the area may contain other things, such as treasure chests. The first two, as shown in the screenshot, will not produce anything special. They can easily be broken by holding CTRL and clicking them, or if you launch a fire-based magic spell at them. There are many of these crystals spread throughout there area. You can see them in the screenshots below. You'll encounter two large ice crystals that are slightly tinted orange. Just past the gate in Hiberheim proper, go directly north. If one of your party members only has water offense, consider changing him out in the Hall of Heroes. The enemies in the area are invincible to being chilled and frozen, so you need to adjust your tactics accordingly. All party members are permanently chilled, meaning you'll need to be very careful when using water-based magic. Once the party is rejoined beyond the gate, you'll be in an area of perpetual winter. Throw the lever, and the gate will permanently stay open, allowing the straggler to rejoin the party. (Note that it takes a party member to stand on the pressure plate putting a crate or barrel on the plate will not work.) Send the rest of the party beyond the gate, and you'll see a lever. Stand on it, and it will drop the gate that the pressure plate over looks. Send one person up the hill beyond the barrels and you'll find a pressure plate. Instead, move the crates out of your way by stacking them on the barrels. The one barrel that sits between the crates and the other barrels is on a pressure plate, and when pressure is taken off, an explosion is going to seriously damage you. You'll come to a path that is blocked by several barrels and crates. Consult the screenshot below for reference.Ĭontinue east while staying as south as possible. You can disable the trap by moving a crate from the left onto a stone pressure plate located directly south of the statue. You'll eventually come to a statue that is constantly on alert, and just beyond that is a trap that constantly drops icicles. Then, go southeast while tracing the southern edge of the path. Starting from Almina's body, go back the way you came until you reach the closest lever. It's about the size of the Cyseal wilderness, and there are a lot of opportunities for experience points. Although you've worked your way through most of Hiberheim Cave, the whole of Hiberheim is much bigger. ![]()
